Head Outdoors for Kids to Parks Day 2015!

KTPLogo_New_FINALIf Scouts know one thing, it’s how to have fun in the great outdoors. Pair that with a friendly visit from a bison named Buddy, lots of games, and your favorite outdoor spot and you’ve got yourself Kids to Parks Day 2015 on Saturday, May 16.

The BSA is teaming up with National Park Trust to encourage Scouting families to celebrate this “national day of play” by visiting your local, state and national parks. Whether you’re heading to your favorite park, beach, or hiking trail – the ways to enjoy the day are limitless! You can sign up for a Kids to Parks day near you at kidstoparks.org. If you pledge to participate, you might even win a really cool prize!

For the complete lowdown of the day’s festivities, check out Scouting Wire and don’t forget to register for the event nearest you!
