The ultra-upbeat, health-fanatic Chris Traeger (played by Rob Lowe in Parks and Recreation) could have easily passed as a former Scout. Now, the real life Lowe is giving Scouts a nod.
Lowe tweeted a photo of himself surrounded by Scouts with the caption, “With the #boyscouts. They make the future look good.”
The photo is from Sept. 13 in Malibu, CA, where Lowe participated in the Ride to the Flags VIII supporting Wounded Warriors. The image hit more than a million Twitter feeds.

Along with Parks and Recreation, Lowe’s credits include The Outsiders, St. Elmo’s Fire, Tommy Boy, The West Wing, and Wayne’s World. Now he can add fan of the Boy Scouts to the list.
